What Dernek is

Dernek is a platform for discovering and sharing events in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is not a ticketing platform — any ticket links on Dernek redirect to third-party sellers. Dernek does not sell, process, or guarantee tickets. We are an independent directory and are not affiliated with the events or venues listed.

Eligibility

You may use Dernek if you are at least 13 years of age. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date. One person may not create multiple accounts.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at support@dernekbih.com. Dernek is not liable for losses caused by compromised credentials.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, submit false information, or engage in abusive behaviour toward the platform or its users.

Submitting events

Event submissions are reviewed by a Dernek admin before they appear publicly. By submitting an event, you confirm that:

• You are the organiser or an authorised representative of the event.
• All details you provide — dates, venue, lineup, price, and description — are accurate.
• You own or have the right to use any images you upload.
• The event complies with applicable laws in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
• Ticket links point to official or trusted sellers only.

Submission does not guarantee publication. Dernek may decline or remove events at its discretion, particularly if content is inaccurate, misleading, promotes illegal activity, or does not fit the platform's focus.

Prohibited content

You may not submit or post content that:

• Is false, misleading, or fraudulent.
• Promotes illegal activity or events that breach BiH law.
• Contains hate speech or discriminatory language.
• Infringes the copyright or intellectual property of any third party.
• Contains spam, unsolicited advertising, or phishing links.
• Includes personal data of third parties without their consent.

Dernek reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules and to suspend accounts responsible.

Intellectual property

The Dernek name, logo, and platform design are the property of Dernek. You may not reproduce, copy, or imitate them without permission.

When you submit an event, you grant Dernek a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the event information and images on the platform and in promotional materials (e.g. social media posts about upcoming events). You retain ownership of any images you upload.

Artist profiles

Artist profiles are created automatically from approved event lineups. Artists can request to claim and manage their profile. Claiming a profile requires a verified account and admin approval. Dernek may remove or merge profiles at any time to maintain accuracy.

Third-party links and services

Events listed on Dernek may include links to external sites (ticketing platforms, Facebook events, Instagram pages). Dernek is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those external sites. A link does not imply endorsement.

Maps are provided by Mapbox. Ticket links redirect to third-party sellers. Dernek has no control over those platforms and accepts no liability for transactions made on them.

Disclaimer of warranties

Dernek is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that event information will always be accurate or up to date. Event organisers are solely responsible for the accuracy of the details they submit.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dernek and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to: losses from cancelled or changed events, purchases made through third-party ticket links, or reliance on inaccurate event information.

Changes to the service

Dernek may update, change, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without notice. We may also update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Dernek after an update means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Any disputes arising from your use of Dernek shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
